Miss Mercy Ijoma is a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in addiction and behavioral health. She received her nursing diploma in 1988 from Holy Rosary Hospital School of Nursing in Imo State, Nigeria and a Midwifery Certification at Queen Elizabeth teaching Hospital Umuahia Abia State in Nigeria in 1990. She worked in the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital for 5 years before relocated to the United States in April, 1996 after passing the International Nursing Exam namely Commission on Graduate of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS). She was recruited by Health Network International based in Texas.

Miss Ijoma received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Grand Canyon University and a Masters in Nursing degree from Walden University. Her training as a family nurse practitioner allows her to serve clients across the lifespan and all ages of using customized, holistic, and evidence-based practice model. With over 30 years experience in the healthcare field, she has delivered patient-centered care in a variety of settings including inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, primary care, addiction, pain management, geriatric care, and pediatric care. She is an expert in taking care of the family as a unit. She uses her expertise in consultation services in the hospital population, nursing homes, and assisted living. She is certified to administer Suboxone and provide medical marijuana evaluation for clients that meet criteria. Miss Ijoma is a member of the Nurse Practitioner Association of Maryland.

Meet our provider Dr. Dave, a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. He received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland School of Nursing, Baltimore. His training allows him to serve clients across the lifespan using customized, holistic, and evidence-based practice model. With over 15 years’ experience in mental health, he has delivered patient-centered care in a variety of settings including inpatient psychiatry, psychiatric emergency room/crisis intervention, consultation services in the general hospital population, nursing homes, assisted living and outpatient psychiatry. He has extensive experience in the evaluation and treatment of patients with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders. He is certified to administer Suboxone and provide medical marijuana evaluation for clients that meet criteria. Dr. Dave is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International, the AmericanPsychiatric Nurses Association, the Nurse Practitioner Association of Maryland, and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
